I'm Tiffany

I'm a UX Designer, Researcher, Strategist 🦄 based in Columbus, OH. While I'm originally an Indiana native, I've called Ohio home for over 13 years and love the city life.

Shortly after the pandemic, I traded my 10+ years of teaching for Figma files, finding my background in behavioral psychology and instructional design fitting perfectly into the world of UX, and haven't looked back!

Today, I use those same "teacher skills" of empathy, communication, and problem-solving to build digital experiences that are as intuitive as they are impactful.

The "Dog Mom" Life

My home is run by two very different, very loved (and possibly spoiled) pups. Eris is my 12-year-old Australian Shepherd/Collie mix who mostly just wants some peace and quiet, which she rarely gets, thanks to her younger sister, Mara. Mara is a 3-year-old English Bulldog with a massive personality and enough sporadic energy to annoy her big sister daily. They're basically my kids, and yes, I have a never-ending supply of photos in addition to these few if you ever want to see them.

Gaming & Cozy Crafts

If you haven't guessed by my dogs' names (both are nods to video game characters from Destiny), I'm a big gamer. Most of my weekday evenings are spent kicking ass in a digital world or hanging out with friends for a craft night.

My off-screen time is usually keeping my hands busy with a crochet or knitting project. In fact, there's a high probability I'm currently in the middle of making a sweater or a weird creature plushie as you read this.

Passports & Coffee

I love to travel anywhere and everywhere, but my most recent international trips to Asian countries have become my favorite. Japan was the best in experiencing the buzz of Tokyo, the temples of Kyoto, and the absolutely stunning moutains of Hakone. Just last year, I was able to experience Hong Kong and China where the people were so nice, the views were amazing, and the food was unforgettable. For me, travel is about meeting new people, experiencing and learning from different cultures, and hunting down the best coffee on the planet (which, in my humble opinion, is definitely in Japan).

Lover of All Things Creepy

I've always had a massive soft spot for the spookier things in life; even as a toddler, my favorite movie was Child's Play. Whether I'm taking a ghost tour or binging a podcast about aliens or true crime, I'm here for the creeps and a good mystery.

I'm also a huge horror movie fan, with Midsommar being my favorite. There's just something about the suspense and storytelling of a good scare that I just can't resist. I'm an investigative skeptic at heart; I love digging into the "why" behind the weird and uncovering the history most people walk right past.

The "Official" Stuff

For those who want to see the bullet points and skills I've picked up along the way.
